As luck would have it, Pete spent part of his childhood in Houston and much of his family is still down there (poor bastards).
The museum district is very cool, with lots of museums to keep you busy.
Exploring the tunnels downtown (well, under downtown) is something else.
Authentic Mexican food, of course.
NASA, if you’re into that sort of thing and feel like making the drive.
For me, Ikea is a must, since we don’t have one close to us.
We also usually visit the children’s museum, which is one of the best in the country, but I’m thinking is not a necessary visit for you.
I’ll ask my husband in a few hours once he finishes reading Harry Potter #7.
